October is a month when we spend more time taking pictures of our kids.  The colors of fall, along with Halloween, offer great opportunities to capture special moments to send to others in our family.  While we have good intentions of sending hard copies of our digital photos to everyone, time constraints always made it easier to send via email…until NOW.  Enter POSTCARDLY!  In the amount of time it takes to load a picture to email and send, you can have a beautiful postcard made and sent via U.S. mail to any address in the United States (including APO’s and FPO’s).

Paul Hughes, a co-founder of POSTCARDLY expressed his own family’s dilemma – “Our inspiration hit us when we had kids. We had a POSTCARDLY made and sent to one of our grandmothers who loved it! Literally, even with registration, it took 3 minutes to set up an account and to have our postcard sent.  Once registered, it took 30 seconds to send an email directly to our POSTCARDLY account. We’ve been thinking of other uses over the past week:  postcards for teachers, postcard from teachers to parents and/or students, birth announcements, beginning of the school year introductions, student teacher introductions, the list can go on and on.  According to Paul Hughes, “ we’ve seen all sorts of people using POSTCARDLY for all sorts of things: vacation pics, graduation pics, kid birthday thank-you cards, invitations or save the dates for parties, first day of school pictures, etc., etc.!”  Each postcard sent offers a high-quality 6-inch-by-4.25-inch image with room for a long message on the back, around 100 words.
