Super Heroes, Mismatched toys, and Non-Traditional Painting FUN!

As in most classrooms, we have daily tasks that the children do.  Once a week, all of our children transform themselves into “Classroom Clean-up Super Heroes.” The children can choose what they wish to be and create accessories for the important task ahead (cardboard tube cuffs and leg bands are the current trend for “in style” super heroes.)  As we work together to organize our classroom activity trays and do general clean-up, we place all the mismatched items into a bin.

Last week was a short school week for us and our bin items did not get put away.  This week, we decided to see what would happen if we PAINTED with them instead!

Domino Stamping

Lego Printing

Foam Cube Patterning

Plastic Cube Faces

Foam Letter Stamping

We hope you enjoy some of our creations as we had a day of messy FUN in creating them! We have used many non-traditional painting tools before, but some of these were NEW for us!
