Directions for your printable:  

Materials needed: One Bat Rhyming Words.pdf for each child, pencils or crayons, and scissors.

Print one copy of the Bat Rhyming Words.pdf  (linked above) for each child. Ask the children what rhyming words they can come up with for the word BAT.   Chart any words the children can name.  Go over the -at sound with the children.  Have the children complete the worksheet by filling in any missing letters.

For younger children: Have the children look at the completed words in each grouping. They can then stamp or write the letter necessary to fill in the blanks.
